YOU DECIDE - a contemplative workshop on individuality and inner guidance

"Failiure is nothing but the opportunity to succeed.”  Yogi of Sound

Free. REGISTEROrganised by the Raj Academy

Experience how deciding in alignment with your inner nature enables ease of action and interaction.

Empowerment is in the hands of those capable of knowing how to mind their ways. No prerequisites other than an open mind to trace the path of yogic wisdom to the heart of you. Decision making, as a sound art of transforming possibilities into reality. From rationale and emotion into action. Come and explore your unique way of conversing with your life from yesterday and tomorrow into ONE present. https://rajacademy.com

Join this workshop to explore how you connect to yourself and others.

  • When one decides, who decides really?
  • What is the role of interconnection and belonging?
  • The meaning of failure?
  • How to leave the guilt/blame game and embrasse neutrality?
  • We are all unique.... why can’t we just be; what if it were possible to welcome all and anything with a genuine smile within ?

The session is primarily in English, and anyway the langage of emotion knows no limits.  Please have your Myers-Briggs profile ready before you join, so you can combine the tools of Ancient India with the modern ones.

Return to Naad Yoga Events

Mehar Kaur has been sharing Naad Yoga since 2013. A physicist by training, she approaches the inner reality of meditative experience with a searching eye for sense and unity. Fluent in four languages, her encounter with Gurmukhi poetry and its fascinating resonance with the human psyche, has pointed her to the inherent oneness within all.  One of many gifts from the 4 year Naad Yoga Teacher Training with the Raj Academy in London and India, under the guidance of Yogi of Sound, Surinder Singh.  Mehar is member of the Naad Yoga Council and first shared Naad in the Twin Ciites, MN.

Testimony of a Naad Yogi

Life is full of wonders and stumbles. Unlocking them is our learning path. I found out, crossing continents and cultures, that there is a simple way: listen to that, that belongs to all of them and none. When yoga crossed my path again, beyond the hatha of my early age, I encountered mantr'. Mantr', in a language, so distant from my mind, and yet so near, that I knew it in an instant. Mantr' travels heart to heart, a legacy of humans that have lived their inner song, fully unobstructed. The Gurmukh poem said  “simare”, and I did, somehow. Through a veil of tears came a primal memory. I felt my prison melting and knew that part of me has always been and always will be.

Work, commitments, family and friends are the school of life, to grow the mastery and knowledge, that come through Naad.  Always within reach, all you need is courage to overcome yourself. No shadow can be faced in solitude. Embracing the endeavors of a teacher, I share Naad Yoga so others may find peace and guidance in their inner realms. As awareness grows, so do I, with gratitude.

Thank you for registering.

We are looking forward to seeing you.

Naad Yoga Teacher Training

starting 9th October 2022 online with Méhar Kaur in French. For English, please refer to

A journey from stress to success: understanding how our emotions compose our life to consciously and naturally convert negativity into an act of meaningful expression that creates a happy, healthy present, with balance. The process is similar to how music is composed. Naad Yoga uses musical modes and human emotions as raw material for personal development.

A three-year programme, focused on preparing you through experience for mastery in life. Tuning, listening, rhythm, singing, chakras, senses, emotional signatures, moods and silence are the ten keys you will use to open the door of composition.

Six yogic instruments - bowed, plucked and percussion - have been used in ancient times as tools to build a spiritual bridge between body, mind and soul. We will use one - the Dilruba, for its simplicity and beauty.  The key note is always there, at the tip of your fingers, ready to support and anchor your voice and your ear, like a faithful tutor, so you can express, learn and grow.

How does it work?

You progress through home learning, weekly support, monthly group classes and a yearly intensive residential. The course includes:

  • 36  weeks of practical learning at home with online course materials to be completed within 36 weeks.
  • 36 hours of group classes, delivered on a monthly basis
  • 36 hours of teaching experience per year, sarting in second year through the Sangat & Seva module, conditional to recieving the Naad Yoga Teacher Training certificate, which would otherwise be replaced by the Naad Yoga Diploma certificate.

  • 3-month break each year for reflection with individual practice and projects.
